Winter Cabaret

An Old Church Theater Fundraising Event

A fundraising event for the restoration of Old Church Theater.

Miles Conklin is producing and MC’ing the event, and has booked skits, music, song, dance (including belly dancing!) and more into each evening. There will be refreshments, a 50-50 raffle and opportunity to purchase season tickets to Old Church Theater’s 2018 season.

The proceeds from “Winter Cabaret” will be used to restore Old Church Theater’s home stage at 137 North Main Street- the 225 year-old “old church”- with the eventual goal of making the building usable year-round as a performing arts center. The most pressing need is a new foundation to deal with troublesome drainage issues, followed by the installation of new seating, heating, restrooms, an enlarged lobby, and to solve accessibility issues posed by the imposing flight of stairs into the building. The group hopes to complete most of the restoration by 2021, through donations, gifts and grants.
